Meet the experts behind the smiles!
Dr. Greg Berman
Dr. Berman was born and raised in the northwest suburbs of Detroit. After attaining a bachelor’s degree in biology and history from the University of Michigan, he received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree from the University of Detroit-Mercy in 2004. He completed a residency of Advanced Education in General Dentistry where he obtained proficiency in complex cosmetic and restorative dentistry, as well as implant and periodontal surgical techniques. After practicing for several years, he then pursued and earned a Masters of Dental Science degree and certification in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics from the University of Pittsburgh in 2010.
Dr. Berman’s interest in orthodontics began during his own treatment as a kid, and his love for the profession continues to grow with every patient he treats. He finds the remarkable changes that come from his help in creating beautiful smiles for people of all ages among the most gratifying experiences in his life. He greatly enjoys taking the journey with all of his patients towards achieving their best and most perfect smiles.
When he is away from the office, Dr. Berman enjoys reading, sports, travel, consuming endless movies and shows over too many streaming services, and spending time with family and friends. He keeps himself centered and earth-bound with yoga, and tries to keep fit with exercise…both of which might be disrupted by the offerings of too many streaming services!
Dr. Daniel Regan
Dr. Daniel Regan grew up in a small town on the South Shore of Massachusetts. After attending Boston College for his undergraduate degree in Biology, he obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, where he graduated magna cum laude. He then continued at Tufts to complete his orthodontic residency and earn his Certificate in Orthodontics. Dr. Regan has always been very involved with research. He has spent six years conducting his projects in the Trotman Facial Animation Lab in Boston, with his areas of interest centering around craniofacial abnormalities like Cleft Lip and Palate, as well as Facial Paralysis. Dr. Regan has attained status as a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. This status is achieved by only a small percentage of orthodontic specialists and requires an intense certification and examination process on all facets of orthodontic treatment, including presenting clinical cases treated by the orthodontist that demonstrate proficiency in this specialty.
Dr. Regan’s passion for orthodontics came through his own experiences with early treatment as a patient and a lot of time spent in orthodontic offices throughout his childhood. He enjoys treating patients of all ages and has always found it extremely rewarding to help people with something as important as their smile. He really values the relationships that are developed throughout the treatment process with both the patients and their families as their smiles come to form.
Dr. Regan’s hobbies include spending time with family and friends, hiking, and golfing. Having grown up in Boston, he is also very passionate about his Boston sports teams, which luckily don’t clash too much with the teams in Illinois!
